Our Mercury Bay Historical Society are organising a boating trip around the Mercury Islands on board a 12m boat run by the Dive Zone Whitianga. The boat can take twenty passengers.
DETAILS:
DATE – Our trip is planned for Saturday 27 March
DEPARTURE – leaving the marina at 0900. This is a full day out for twenty people
COST – $90 pp.
We all need to have warm clothing and supply our own lunch. Tea and coffee provided and of course bathroom facilities.
Our trip will take in all the Mercury Islands Ohinau , Red Mercury, Double and Green Island and of course Great Mercury Island.
We will have a DOC ranger on board to convey local history and how DOC is managing the Mercury Islands.
There is space for six more passengers.
